Ph.d. Research Programs

A key intermediate objective of the Gulu University-ENRECA Project is to support:

  • That three Gulu University Staff complete a PhD programme.
  • That these Ph.d.'s teach at their respective faculties and publish relevant articles in peer-reviewed journals.

The project has awarded all three scholarships as seen below. The three Gulu University staff are due to finalize their respective PhD dissertations by end of 2012. Each of the three will have spent 15 months at Danish Universities during the course of their PhD studies, and have remained teaching staff of Gulu University. They have done a number of presentations of their research both at Gulu University, in connection with research events organized by ENRECA-Gulu University, and, at their respective Danish partner universities. In addition, they have each participated in relevant PhD courses in Gulu and in Denmark.
